Meet the Orange County Team Behind Woolsey Insulation Orange County
We’re a small crew, and that’s on purpose. Insulation work is detail-heavy, often in tight spaces, and it demands people who actually like solving the odd problems that older Orange County homes throw at you. The folks below are the ones who’ll show up at your door in a uniform, introduce themselves by name, and treat your house like it matters. Together we’ve handled thousands of attics across the county, from condos in Irvine to 1970s ranch houses in Fullerton, and we’ve learned that the best tool on the truck is a technician who listens before he starts cutting. Glenn Hartley, Owner, has built this team around one idea: hire people who’d do the job right even if nobody was watching.
Our People
Miguel R. – Lead Technician
Miguel has been running insulation crews for 14 years, the last seven of them here in Orange County. He’s the person who walks an attic first, maps out vent baffles, and figures out which existing insulation can stay and which has to go. Miguel holds BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification in air sealing and insulation installation, and he’s our go-to for older Orangewood and Santa Ana homes where electrical wiring, recessed lights, and decades-old insulation all meet in the same tight space. He’s got a quiet, methodical way of working, and a habit nobody can explain: he always knocks twice on the attic hatch before opening it. He says it’s for dust. We’re not sure.
Dan S. – Senior Installer
Dan has spent nine years installing both blown-in fiberglass and spray foam insulation, and he’s the reason our spray foam jobs turn out as clean as they do. He handles the two-part foam rig, understands how temperature and humidity affect application, and can tell you within ten square feet how much material a job will take just by looking at the roofline. Dan completed manufacturer training through Demilec and Icynene, and he leads most of our foam jobs in coastal cities like Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, where marine air makes moisture control in an attic a real conversation. On his days off, Dan restores old surfboards, which means he’s very good with a utility knife.
Priya T. – Service Coordinator
Priya is the voice on the phone, and it’s a live voice, 24 hours a day, with no voicemail maze. She’s been with Woolsey for five years and knows the Orange County service area like the back of her hand, from Ladera Ranch and Mission Viejo up through Orange and Anaheim. Priya coordinates schedules, confirms arrival windows, and makes sure every homeowner gets a written price before any work begins. She grew up in a construction family, so when a homeowner calls in with a confusing situation in their attic, she can usually tell them what questions they’ll want to ask and what an honest fix looks like over the phone. She’s the reason our crews run on time.
Chris B. – Apprentice Installer
Chris is in his second year with us, and he came to insulation after a few years of general labor jobs that never quite stuck. He’s learning the trade the right way: shadowing Miguel and Dan, understanding how different insulation materials interact with a home’s ventilation, and taking manufacturer training courses as he works toward full certification. Chris is from Tustin and says his favorite part of the job is seeing a homeowner’s face when they feel the temperature difference in their upstairs hallway after we’ve finished an attic. He once described blown-in fiberglass as “like snow, but warm and slightly less festive.” We kept that one.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this team works under the same set of rules, and those rules are in writing. We call it The Kingswell Way. It means a live person answers the phone, every time. It means you receive a written price before any work starts, so there are no surprises when the job is done. It means a committed arrival window, a clean job site when we leave, and a written guarantee included on every repair and installation. That guarantee is the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if our work fails within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge, no arguments. Each Woolsey location is independently owned and operated under the Kingswell banner, which means the folks who run this Orange County crew are accountable directly to the people we work for. Glenn Hartley, Owner, puts it simply: we do what we say we’ll do, and if we don’t, we come back and make it right. That’s not a slogan. It’s how we keep a local insulation company honest in a county with a lot of houses and a lot of hot attics.
